High magnet pull strength makes completion operations efficient, safer and economical

CALGARY, Alberta--(BUSINESS WIRE )--NCS Oilfield Services, an independent technology and services company specializing in multistage completions, announced today the availability of a new Magnetic Bull Nose, a new downhole component of NCS fracture completion systems. The device fastens to the NCS Mongoose bottom-hole assembly (BHA) and picks up metal debris and loose filings from the wellbore, preventing them from entering the BHA and causing costly damage.

The Magnetic Bull Nose is magnetized with 24 powerful magnets, producing seven inches of active magnetic field, and because the design incorporates a long-life centralizer with carbide inserts, no redress is necessary.
